He started his first company at 19, ran it for 33 years and sold it in 2022. He co-hosts the Lead Counsel podcast with law firm owner Tom Tona.

Mike Zappone bought his first limousine at 19 with a bank loan and a handshake, and spent the next 33 years building it into a transportation company that served clients in 650 cities, with more than 100 employees at its peak and Fortune 500 clients. Along the way he launched and exited more than a dozen other businesses across real estate, restaurants and automotive. After selling the company in 2022, he read Traction and became a Professional EOS Implementer and Certified ProfitWorks Coach. Today he works with law firms and other growing companies of 10 to 250 people, helping owners get out of the bottleneck with clear vision, accountability and a healthy leadership team. He co-hosts the weekly Lead Counsel podcast with Tom Tona, founder of TonaLaw, and is based in Sarasota, Florida and Newburgh, New York.
